yes.. I use a photo to reference my vector... and I use the color gradient to make that color like so real. Maybe this link can be help you to making a vector car... good luck. :)

No problem, you deserve it. Tell me, did you use a photo as a reference? Vector art like this is beyond me so I'd love some insight into how something like this gets created.
